Sail Lanka

Sail Lanka is a Sri Lankan company that was created and incorporated at the BOI of Sri Lanka (section 16 N° 4694/01/02/2014) on 1st January 2014.

Sail Lanka offers day and multi-day charter cruises with skipper on the East, West and Northern coasts of Sri Lanka. The company is officially entitled to organise whale watching.

The start up was created at the initiative of the Building A Future Foundation which acts as an incubator of local companies in the yachting industry and as a catalyst in order to introduce state of the art boatyards, the necessary infrastructure (mini-marinas) and chartering activities in the island.

Sail Lanka is part of the Sail Lanka Yachting Group which gathers Solar Impulse (specialised in mechanical and electrical engineerings, boat building, sail making, etc), BAFF Polymech Pvt Ltd (boatyards), Sabrosa-Rain Advanced technologies and Sail Lanka. The Sail Lanka Yachting Group created at the initiative of Mr Pierre Pringiers aims at developing the yachting industry at large in Sri Lanka. The companies which are part of the Sri Lanka Yachting Group generate sustainable employment for the benefit of the local coastal communities in Sri Lanka.
